Hidden in the heart of Hot Springs, NC, Magnolia House Estate is a private, 3-acre, family-owned estate that is just perfect for a family reunion or a small destination wedding.   

 

Once the manor house of Hot Springs, the Magnolia House is a fully restored, Victorian-era home that sits amidst tall trees, manicured gardens, and unbeatable mountain views.

 

The beauty of this place lends itself to magical, reunion-style gatherings that feel bespoke, 

timeless, luxurious & easeful. On the privacy of the property you feel the quiet beauty of nature & the mountains. 

 

Just a few minutes walk away ....  beyond the trees .... there’s the Appalachian Trail, the French 

Broad River and the quaint town of Hot Springs.

When you host an event at Magnolia House, you rent the property for either a long weekend.

  • Historic, private, gated 3-acre property

  • Accommodations for up to 20 people

    • Magnolia House

      • 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms

    • Magnolia Cottage, a private suite attached to the back of the large house,

      • 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

      • private living area with kitchenette

    • Garden House, located just next door and on the property

      • 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom​

  • Exquisite, spacious interior spaces

  • Stocked firepit

  • Countless picture-perfect spaces from curated gardens, wooded walkways underneath the trees,  boxwood maze, the vintage house and more

  • 5-minute walk to downtown Hot Springs

Venue Rental

  • Maximum event size is 80 guests 

​

  • Event Availablity 

    • The majority of our gathering spaces are outdoors, limiting our event season to the warmer months for larger events. 

      • 14 Guests: All Year Around  â€‹

      • 20+ Guests: Late April - First Weekend in November

​

  • ​A minimum 3-night stay is required for weekend events.

​

  • We provide tables and chairs for up to 30 guests:

    • 3 8ft farm tables

    • 30 cross-back wooden chairs 

​

  • Event Spaces

    • Covered Outdoor Porch: Seating for up to 14 guests

    • Covered Outdoor Pavilion: Seating for up to 30 guests

    • Outdoor Side Lawn: Seating for up to 80 guests (tent required through a third-party rental company)

    • Walnut Tree Lawn: Theater-style seating for up to 80 guests

  • Additional Amenities 

    • Large chef's kitchen and outdoor porch space accessible for caterers

    • Indoor restrooms

    • Local, easy access parking for your guests 

    • Alcohol permitted( a liquor license is required)

  • Concierge Venue Management Services 

    • Local additional lodging recommendations within walking distance ​

    • ​​​​​​​Curated list of highly recommended vendors

    • Event Coordination available for an additional fee

Investment

When you host an event with us, you not only get a magical place to stay but also a unique event venue.

  • Rental fees vary based on the season​

    • High Season: April 21  - July 5th, September - November 3rd + All Holiday Weekends

    • Low Season: November 5  - April 15, July 5th - September 14 

  • Events with 20+ guests are required to rent both properties, Magnolia House + Cottage, and Garden House.

  • Events with 14 or fewer guests are permitted to rent only the Magnolia House.

 

3 Night Weekend Accommodations for 20 Guests + Venue Rental: 

  • Rental fees range from $6,949.00 + tax (low season) - $11,099.00 + tax (high season)

3 Night Weekend Accommodations for 14 Guests + Venue Rental:

  • Rental fees range from $5,899.00 + tax (low season) - $9,899.00 + tax (high season)​​​​​​​​​

Additional Fees â€‹

​​

  • Event insurance through our provider: $250.00​

  • Damage security deposit (refunded after event): $1,000.00 

  • Event coordination: $1,000.00 - $3,250.00
