Hidden in the heart of Hot Springs, NC, Magnolia House Estate is a private, 3-acre, family-owned estate that is just perfect for a family reunion or a small destination wedding.
Once the manor house of Hot Springs, the Magnolia House is a fully restored, Victorian-era home that sits amidst tall trees, manicured gardens, and unbeatable mountain views.
The beauty of this place lends itself to magical, reunion-style gatherings that feel bespoke,
timeless, luxurious & easeful. On the privacy of the property you feel the quiet beauty of nature & the mountains.
Just a few minutes walk away .... beyond the trees .... there’s the Appalachian Trail, the French
Broad River and the quaint town of Hot Springs.

Venue Rental

Family reunions, weddings, retreats
​
Any event held at the Magnolia House will require a special event venue rental fee in addition to the lodging fees.
​
Venue fee - small wedding events up to 14 guests $700.00
Venue fee for small weddings over 15 guests $1500.00
Venue fee for wedding events over 30 guests: $2900.00

Details
Maximum event size is 60 guests.
​
We provide lodging for up to 20 guests in 10 bedrooms throughout the properties. A minimum 3 night stay is required for all events.
We can recommend great walkable, local lodging for your additional guests.
​
Magnolia House has an outdoor covered pavilion with farm tables and cross back chairs for an event for up to 30 guests.
​
A large chef's kitchen and outdoor porch space is provided for your (approved) catering team.
​
For all outdoor events plate-ware, silverware, glassware and table linens will need to be rented by the client.
Outdoor events for up to 60 guests are available late April through the first weekend in November.
​
For wedding events over 30 guests, a tent and additional furnishings would need to be rented.
​
Indoor bathrooms.
Winter rentals of the estate involve smaller groups who come to gather in our indoor spaces. It's possible to have an indoor elopement or retreat with catered meal for up to 12 guests during our winter months.

If you'd prefer to select your own vendor team, that works too, provided those vendors meet our venue requirements.

Magnolia House requirements include:
event insurance through the provider that we recommend ($250.00)

if liquor is being served, you have an insured bartending service and attain a North Carolina temporary liquor license.

A signed contract between Magnolia House and you.
